Our History
EGADE Business School celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2025. Although its origins date back to 1964 with the creation of the Master in Administration, its official history began in 1995 with the formation of the Escuela de Graduados en Administración y Dirección de Empresas. In 2010, the name EGADE Business School was formally adopted. Since its foundation, EGADE has evolved into the leading institution in business education in Latin America, earning the "triple crown" of international quality accreditations: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS, and remaining consistently ranked as the leading institution in the region for almost two decades.

This 30th anniversary of EGADE Business School marks a significant milestone in our history. Over three decades, we have witnessed how the school has grown and evolved, consolidating itself as the leading institution for business education in Mexico and Latin America. Beyond celebrating our legacy and the magnificent community who have contributed to our evolution and impact, our focus is on the future.
Our purpose is clear: "Rethink the future of business to impact the sustainable development of Latin America." This purpose challenges us to position ourselves as a collaborative learning ecosystem capable of fostering leaders committed to innovation, ethics, and sustainability. We aspire for our leaders to challenge the status quo and drive positive change, promoting a vision that integrates economic prosperity with social and environmental well-being.
Business education is constantly transforming, and at EGADE Business School, we are at the forefront of this evolution. From our global learning community to strategic alliances with institutions worldwide, we continue to create innovative solutions for the most pressing challenges businesses and society face.
