Dr. Teresa Almaguer Salazar has been a professor of both on-site and distance education in educational psychology, learning theory, and teaching models; she has taught leadership and ethics in public management in the postgraduate courses in administration and public policy, on-site and online at Tecnológico de Monterrey. She has been Director of Faculty Development and co-teacher in the subjects of Ethics, Corporate Governance, and Corporate Sustainability at EGADE Business School. She has also been a lead professor in several programs focused on faculty development.

Much of Jason's academic expertise is grounded in his experience in the commercial fishing industry, where he worked as a fisheries observer/scientist in the US North Pacific.

In the consulting field, she has been specialized in entrepreneurial innovation, corporate entrepreneurship, IT in government, business process administration, virtual work models, information technology in business strategy and knowledge administration.

Jorge Ramos Mercado's research focuses on dynamic information economics. He was a research associate at the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College from 2014 to 2017 and a research assistant at the Center for Opportunity and Inclusive Growth at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis from 2019 to 2021. He has worked with multiple researchers on projects ranging from industrial organization and the implications of government programs on well-being.

Based on a study conducted by Deloitte where top executives on investing committees responded their survey, it is identified that ​cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A) represent an instrument to gain access to new markets and customers. According to global trends the M&A transactions are increasing. However, strategic buyers and financial sponsors ought to reconcile the rewards and risks of undertaking such a sophisticated utensil for inorganic growth.
