He has managed several institutional research funds,  both public and private, of organizations such as The Inter-American Development Bank, Texas A&M University, the Department of Agriculture of the United States, the Texas Water Development Board, The Center for the Study of Western Hemispheric Trade, the Department of Commerce of the United States, and the National Water Commission of Mexico, amongst others.

Dr. Monárrez currently holds the Director of Strategic Intelligence position at EGADE Business School. Her specialized teaching areas include the economics of businesses, microeconomics, econometrics, and business intelligence. She is also a member of the Business Analytics research group.

Félix Cárdenas
Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Félix Cárdenas is a Professor in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation at EGADE Business School of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he was Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has also been a researcher and affiliate professor at Harvard University, the University of Columbia, IESE, and the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Elliott Kruse is a Professor of the Department of Strategy and Leadership at EGADE Business School and Leader of the Thematic Area Research Group (GAT) in Leadership.

His research focuses on how values shape leadership. His interests include the fields of ethics, motivation, and decision-making. He is particularly interested in the implications of problem resolution, negotiation and social innovation.

Management and Organizations

Dr. Prasad’s research encompasses the areas of entrepreneurship, gender, and diversity in organizations and interpretive methods, topics he addresses from diverse theoretical-critical perspectives. His publications have taken poststructural, postmodern, feminist, postcolonial, neo-Marxist, and psychoanalytical approaches. He is co-chair of the Critical Management Studies division at the Academy of Management.

Dr. Sascha Fürst is a Research Professor of Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation at EGADE Business School and Leader of the Thematic Area Research Group (GAT) in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Dr. Sascha is affiliated with the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku in Finland as a research fellow in international entrepreneurship. He is also visiting professor at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen in Germany where he teaches business in the Latin American context.

Santiago Alonso Díaz is a Research Professor in the Department of Marketing and Business Intelligence at EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey. His academic and professional career has been characterized by outstanding teaching and research work in the field of behavioral and cognitive sciences in various institutions in both Colombia and the United States, including the Javeriana University, Universidad de los Andes, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, University of Rochester and Columbia University.

Alysha Shivji’s research specializes in Business & Human Rights, focusing on access to remedy for business-related human rights abuses. Her multifaceted research experience spans academia, the private sector, civil society, and international governance. Alysha spent three years as a Research Analyst at Apple, an experience that enriched her insights into Business and Human Rights. Aysha conducted a case study with the Fair Food Program for her doctoral research and to contribute to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights’ Accountability and Remedy Project.
