Dr. Franklin Velasco is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Dr. Velasco obtained a Ph.D. in Marketing at University of Texas at Arlington. He successfully completed the program in 2018 and received achievement awards such as 2017 Distinguished Ph. D Student and 2017-2018 Student Research Award. Franklin research interests include consumer well-being, branding strategies, sustainable marketing, services marketing, sports marketing, and marketing strategy.

Dr. Eva María Guerra Leal is director of the EGADE - UNC Charlotte MBA in Global Business & Strategy program and of the MBA at the EGADE Business School Monterrey. She is currently a tenured professor in the Department of Marketing and Business Analytics at EGADE and is part of the Circle of Distinguished Professors.

Masa Kuljis

Masa Kuljis earned a Bachelor´s Degree in Economics and Business from the University of Zagreb (Croatia) with several awards including the Dean's Prize for Academic Excellence and title 'Magna cum laude' for academic excellence. Working as an academic assistant in the same university she received a Master's Degree in Finance. Her great dedication, leadership and entrepreneurial spirit were recognized with the Rector's Special Prize for an outstanding student project and the title 'Magna cum laude'.

I am an experienced marketing professional with international as well as local experience having provided marketing services to multiple companies and industries in Mexico and Australia. In Mexico I have worked for Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua (GCC), McDonald´s, Interceramic, Tecnologico de Monterrey, Fashion Mall, Al Super, and Sotol Hacienda, among others. In Australia, I have worked for Rio Tinto Alcan and The University of Melbourne.

Juan Carlos Bustamante Urbina is a Research Professor in the Marketing and Business Intelligence Department of EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He previously taught in graduate programs at ESPAE Graduate School of Management (Ecuador) and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Cali (Colombia), and in undergraduate programs at the Universidad de Los Andes (Venezuela).

José Juan Chávez

Dr. Chávez has worked in financial institutions for over 30 years, always in topics related to financial risk management, especially in credit risk. In Scotiabank, he was responsible for the implementation of the Basel Accord for advanced models for credit provisioning and capital purposes. Nowadays, he is responsible for the management of the capital ratio of the entities of the Grupo Financiero Scotiabank Inverlat. He was appointed in 2020 (and currently is) President of the Risk Committee for the AMIB (Mexican Brokerage Institutions Association).

José Antonio Núñez
Finance

Professor Núñez Mora’s research and teaching focuses on the field of financial risk. As a researcher, he actively participates in the publication of articles in different national and international journals, books, and book chapters. Professor Núñez Mora is a member of the SNI (Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, Level II, Conacyt. He is Director of the EGADE Business School’s  Journal of Administration, Finance, and Economics and he has directed 10 theses in the last five years for students of the Ph.D in Financial Sciences program.
